An Italian Summer: Texas Edition

What do you think of when you dream of an Italian Summer?

For us, it's the brightest colors, the coldest spritzes & the most Instagrammable moments. While we may not be able to jet each and every one of you off to the Amalfi Coast, we thought we'd bring you a drop that will surely encompass the spirit of summer and the colors of Capri & beyond. Shot right here in Fort Worth at Chef Tim Love's Italian oasis Gemelle, we are excited to transport you with our midsummer drop.

THE NEWEST SUMMER STYLES

As Texas turns up the Summer heat, we thought we'd do just the same. Our newest drop features a Magenta and Sun lightning boot, a cult favorite color that we continue to re-imagine in new and different ways. The bright pink hue is reminiscent of the beautiful bougainvillea flowers that line the Amalfi coast. Bellissima!

One of Lizzy's personal favorite boots, the Capri and Sun lightning bolt captivated our customers when it was first debuted a few Summers ago. It is back and better than ever, channeling the cool, crisp feeling of the Capri water. A color we don't use all that often, Capri is the ultimate Summer shade.

A SPOTLIGHT ON GEMELLE

When brainstorming how to capture a coastal Italian vibe in our land-locked location of Fort Worth, Texas, we simply asked ourselves, "Where can we find the best Aperol Spritz in town?" Chef Tim Love's Gemelle quickly came to mind, as they offer both classic and frozen versions of this traditional Italian apéritif on their menu. With its on-site garden and a pool deck just steps away from the outdoor patio, Gemelle felt like the perfect place to create an Italy-meets-Texas moment. Our model, Priscille, lounged by the pool, floated through the gardens, and even enjoyed a cocktail or two during our shoot.
