We transformed William Campbell Gallery in Fort Worth into an immersive art exhibition for one night only, celebrating a decade of the crafting confidence for the modern cowgirl. The exclusive evening brought together celebrities, jetsetters, rodeo royalty, and Fort Worth's finest to honor ten years of empowering women through heirloom-quality western boots, with more than a few surprises along the way.
Guests arrived to an experience that made a statement upon walking through the door. Male models flanked the gallery entrances, each holding pairs of boots from CITY Boots' Heartbreaker collection, which had surprise dropped at 8 a.m. that very morning.
Inside, the gallery had been transformed into a one-night-only art exhibition that told the story of where CITY Boots has been and where it is going next. The evening unfolded across four immersive exhibits.
CITY Boots Icons — A curated celebration of the brand's most iconic styles and marketing campaigns from the past decade. The exhibit also served as the official debut of the brand's newest campaign, Kissing Cowboys, set to launch the week following the event.
The Art of Bootmaking — An intimate display of premium leathers, traditional tools, and components from the bootmaking process, offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at the artistry and craftsmanship that goes into each pair of CITY Boots.
The 10-Year Collection — A dedicated space showcasing limited edition gunmetal anniversary styles, complete with the brand's commemorative marketing campaign video playing on the gallery walls, an immersive moment that brought the decade-long journey to life.
The Heartbreaker — A striking 7-foot denim heart anchored this exhibit, serving as the backdrop for the Heartbreaker collection that had been unveiled earlier that day. The installation made an unmistakable statement about where CITY Boots is headed next.
The evening reached its emotional peak when founder Lizzy Bentley took center stage surrounded by her family to blow out the candles on a 10-year birthday cake as the room of guests sang "Happy Birthday" to the brand they love. It was a moment that captured everything CITY Boots is about: community, celebration, and the women who have made this brand what it is.
“Ten years ago I set out to share a piece of my family culture with those around me, honoring the authentic craftsmanship of traditional western bootmaking. I never imagined it would grow into what CITY Boots is today. Since that time, we have empowered women from all corners of the world to embrace their inner cowgirl. Friday night was everything I could have hoped for, a celebration of where we've been and what we've built, but what's most exciting for me is where we are going." - Lizzy Bentley
Fort Worth-based La Pulga Spirits provided custom CITY Boots themed drinks throughout the evening, while guests enjoyed a curated tequila tasting experience that had everyone raising a glass to the modern cowgirl.
The 10-year celebration kicked off in December 2025 with the release of limited edition gunmetal anniversary styles, each featuring a handcut 'X' on the strap to commemorate a decade of crafting confidence. With the Heartbreaker collection now live and the Kissing Cowboys campaign launching this week, the celebration shows no signs of slowing down in 2026.
