Why we started CITY Boots? The simple story is we couldn’t find what we wanted in quality and looks, so we decided to make them ourselves.
We wanted something elegant, flattering and feminine and most of all NOT hokey. Cowboy boots should be timeless. You should be able to dress them up or down and wear them in a lot of different settings.
We make tall top boots with a deep-v that flatter and elongate the leg and we keep it simple from a design standpoint so you can be sure to have something that won’t go out of style. We try to offer some styles for versatility and some for statement (and some for in between).
We wanted something that would stand the test of time. Cowboy boots are an heirloom and should be something that you can pass down through the generations.
Our boots are made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship available so you can be certain they will last for many years to come. We don’t cut corners when it comes to quality.
We wanted something for the right price. By doing away with “custom" fit, we keep the price down while maintaining the quality.
We wanted something comfortable. You should be able to wear your cowboy boots all day whether you are at a tailgate party, out on the ranch, picking up your kids from carpool or anywhere in between. We use a proprietary cork filling for comfort and steel shank for support so you can wear your boots all day (or night) long.
The hardest achievement, but the most important to our mission was to create something that honored and upheld the customs of traditional boot making. So many of the old boot companies have traded tradition and quality for margin - we don't and never will. We want to keep this tradition alive!
We are proud to say our boots are still made the old fashioned way at our century old family owned factory in Leon, Mexico. We don't use composite or molded heels or soles. CITY Boots are made with 100% leather insoles, outsoles, toe boxes for longevity and steel shanks and cork foot beds for comfort. CITY Boots are always hand lasted using lemonwood pegs that expand and contract at the same rate as leather so your fit doesn't shift with time.
