Taller Height

The Size Guide

Every CITY boot is built on a feminine fit and designed with comfort and style in mind, but every foot is different. Visit a CITY store to try them on, or use this guide to order with confidence.

GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

CITY Boots run true to a US women's dress shoe size.
If you're between sizes, order the smaller size.

Think firm handshake, not tight squeeze: snug through the instep, with about an inch of heel slip when you first try them on. This tightness is the cornerstone that allows our no break-in period boots. The leather softens to your foot, not the other way around.

CALF FIT

This is a fit option, not a different size. ‘Relaxed Fit’ gives you more room through the calf. Everything else about the boot stays the same.

How to measure: standing with both feet flat, wrap a soft tape around the fullest part of your calf. Measure both legs. It's completely normal for one to run a little larger than the other.

ORIGINAL	13.75-15 inch circumference
RELAXED	15-16.25 inch circumference

BOOT STRETCHING & CUSTOMIZATION

Custom calf stretching: Stretching is available on most CITY Boots. Using professional leather-stretching techniques, we safely stretch your boots to your exact calf specifications for a more comfortable fit.

Croc-embossed styles: Due to the leather construction, these styles cannot be stretched. We recommend double-checking your calf measurement before ordering.

STILL NOT SURE?

Our team fits women in these boots every day, including which styles run generous and which colorways are worth the wait.
